The Legacy Eulogy Package

Because some moments—and some words—deserve to live forever.

A great eulogy is an event game changer.

Yet most speakers copy the same dull, one-size-fits-all eulogy templates they find on-line filled with generic sentiments, clichés and canned lines everyone has heard. Boring.

NO generic templates or phony artificial intelligence (AI)… just real human creativity to make your eulogy completely unique and authentic.

How It Works

1. After booking your eulogy you’ll immediately receive an order confirmation then a separate email from me with a few quick questions about you and your loved one to get us get started.

2. I’ll create a discussion guide for you with a few simple but deeper questions about your loved one and relationship.  These questions are going to have you thinking about the person in a way you haven’t before so we can get at the heart of values, character and personality of him or her through your eyes.

3. After you complete your guide, I'll schedule a call with you to go a little deeper on some of the information.  Our conversation will be totally casual and take at least an hour.  In addition to gathering information, I want to get to know your personality, values, character and sense of humor.

4.  I’ll write the eulogy in your voice and personality.  This is critical and means the eulogy will be easy and comfortable for you to deliver.

5.  I'll send you the eulogy and ask you to read through it out loud to yourself a few times.  I'll add or refine anything until every word is exactly what you want to say.

What Customers Say

Frequently Asked Questions

  • After booking you immediately receive an order confirmation then an email from me same day with a few questions to get started. Check your SPAM folder. This is an easy process for you to get a warm, engaging, original eulogy.

  • The Give the Eulogy Process is a tried-and-true system to gather a combination of important facts, feelings and experiences.

I call you because it's easier and faster for you to go deeper on topics in a short conversation than in writing. Plus, I want to get a sense of your values, character and personality, all of which factor heavily into your eulogy.

  • This is a highly personalized service that will ensure your eulogy is powerful, heartfelt and unforgettable. If you're struggling with what to say or are an inexperienced speaker, this is for you. You don't have to continue wrestling with this alone.

I've written eulogies and coached thousands of speakers at all age and experience levels for nearly 20 years. This process will work for you, too.

Giving a eulogy is, for most of us, a once-in-a-lifetime honor. I will help you make it one of the most powerful experiences of your life.

  • Yes. You're in complete control. Some clients mention our work together to others, some don't. It's up to you. Regardless, I'm always working behind the scenes to help you give the perfect eulogy.

  • After earning a B.A. in communication studies and an M.A. in journalism on scholarship, I began my career in marketing agencies creating strategy and writing ads, films, speeches, books, websites and other materials for Fortune 500 companies and global nonprofits.

CEOs and other executives at client companies would often ask me to write a speech for a funeral, wedding, anniversary, retirement, milestone birthday or other event in their personal lives (visit www.nailyourspeech.com for other types of speeches).

These execs were also typically nervous about delivering their speeches despite being accomplished business executives. That's because eulogies and other personal speeches push people out of their element and comfort zones.

  • I'm completely digital and work with clients around the world. My home base is Chicago. I'm easy to reach day and night through email or telephone. And I promptly return emails and messages.
